About this website
This is an information website, hoping to inform you of the possibility of creating a better world, with a more effective and sustainable economy, that is not based on ever-increasing levels of debt.
We hope to provide resources via my recent book Hijacked—How the Banking Industry, Finance, and Corporate Interests Have Hijacked Our Economy and Corrupted Democracy, the articles posted, and further resources on the site, such as the links to other sites and videos.
We believe that any real change in this world, will come from the greater population at large, which necessitates that we all get a little better informed as to what the true issues are. We are fed a lot of superfluous information by the mainstream media that diverts our attention from what really matters and basically just supports the corporate agenda. Information on critical issues is not aired, particularly regarding banking and finance, which are matters that affect all of us.
We are led to believe that we should leave this discussion to the “experts”, who invariably offer no real solutions but lead us into further impoverishment, and enable the super-wealthy become even wealthier.
We do not need to be PhD economists to recognise a failing economic system, or get to understand how we can make some useful and fundamental changes.
We believe that the world has an abundance of resources, both in the land and us, the inhabitants of this beautiful planet. How we chose to utilised these resources and distribute the fruits of our labours should be decided by all, not simply a few minority interests, behind closed doors, in secret.
It is said that we are war, but this war is a war for minds, a war of words. We have to reach out to each other in new ways.
It is time for humanity to grow up, to truly evolve and create a more equitable world.

I am an author and independent researcher, looking into economic and health issues that I believe fundamentally affect our society. By ‘our society’ I am referring to the wider global community. It is my fundamental belief that the health of our societies is as inextricably linked by our economies as are the environmental consequences of the pollution of the Earth, and the degradation of the soil that forms the basis of our agricultural system. It is my view that globalization of our economies has imposed an increasing burden on society, via the massive levels of debt which are imposing an even greater threat to health than the greatly impoverished industrial food supply system. These are the topics that are addressed both in the books I have written, that are referred to on this website, and articles, and other resources to be found here. Andrew A D Burgoyne
